The four new facilities – a printed circuit board plant, plastics and mechanics plant, electronics assembly plant, and electronic components plant – complete the first stage of the technology park project. Together, these factories will enable the production of more than 30 million electronic devices per year. The total investment in these facilities, including land acquisition and street and infrastructure development, exceeds €320 million. Opportunities for Teltonika partners to grow together The new High-Tech Hill Technology Park now hosts a state-of-the-art electronics assembly factory which, with its expanded product offering, will also support sustainable growth for Teltonika’s partners. The 22,700 m² facility includes 10 electronics assembly lines (SMT), 5 packaging lines, a modern robotic warehouse, and laboratories, ensuring an additional production capacity of 18 million units per year. Arvydas Paukštys, founder of the Teltonika and TLT groups of companies and head of AGP Investments, said: “We are grateful to our partners for the trust that has enabled Teltonika Group to grow more than fourfold over the past five years. This, our third electronics assembly factory, will be a vital part of our continued growth. With newly implemented automation and digitalisation processes, we will be able to efficiently produce both large and small batches, and deliver the latest technological products to our customers even faster.” FOUR NEW FACTORIES DRIVING GROWTH Vertical integration is a key advantage of High-Tech Hill, reducing dependence on supply chain disruptions and suppliers in Asia. For clients, this means access to the full range of electronics manufacturing services in one place – from PCB production to final product assembly. This is a unique achievement not only in the region but also in the context of the European tech industry. With the opening of these new factories, the group’s production capacity increases from the current 10 million to 30 million electronic devices per year. By 2030, when the technology park is expected to be fully completed, capacity will reach up to 100 million devices annually. Total electricity consumption of the park: 74 MW Community-friendly infrastructure developed: two new streets – Ditvos and Svylos – fully built, with over 9,500 m² of paved roads with sidewalks, 3,200 m² of cycling paths, and a new roundabout for traffic safety 468 trees and 3,847 shrubs planted, with a total of 12,551 m² of green areas landscaped Future development phases will include an R&D centre, a semiconductor chip design, packaging, assembly, and testing plant, a power module assembly plant, additional electronic component factories, an AI data centre, as well as infrastructure projects such as a shopping centre and parking facilities. Located in the High-Tech Hill technology park in Liepkalnis, Vilnius, House of R&D will provide modern workspaces designed to foster collaboration, innovation, and the development of advanced Internet of Things (IoT) solutions. The complex will feature laboratories, office spaces, coworking areas, and leisure zones tailored to the needs of high-tech professionals. According to Teltonika Group President Marius Derenčius, the new campus will play an important role in supporting the company’s future business expansion: “Together with the group’s leadership team, we have set a goal to create a new business direction every year. For these new ventures to grow, close collaboration with our companies that have already built strong expertise will be essential. This space will become an excellent environment for developing our future businesses.” The House of R&D complex will consist of five-story buildings with a total area of 20,600 sq. m. and will meet A++ energy efficiency standards. COMPANY HISTORY What did Teltonika look like in the beginning? How did it grow from one-person business to a large company group? TIMELINE OF THE MAIN EVENTS 1998-2003 2005-2007 2008-2012 2014-2019 2020-2021 2022-2024 Menu Close Arvydas Paukštys founded Teltonika. 1998 Teltonika’s first GPS tracking device, TBOXN12GPS, was introduced. It marked the beginning of the telematics business niche. We started using a new logo, representing a well synchronised teamwork just like in boat-racing. We work best as a team, all together, and at the same pace. We integrate different people and all grow simultaneously. This way we reach our maximum speed. Those who are best at rowing together in unison always win. First successful Teltonika devices were made, such as glucose measuring device, timing system device, and current meter. We launched our trial Guard GSM project. The main purpose of this IoT device was to control external sensors and retrieve data from them to make corresponding security actions. At the Infobalt Expo 2003, we presented a versatile programmable controller, which won the Best Product Award. 2003 Teltonika introduced its first fleet management platform TAVL. Its purpose was to display and manage real-time data retrieved from tracking equipment and collect information on the actions and assets of the vehicle operator. 2005 The founder of Teltonika Arvydas Paukštys was named Manager of the Year in Lithuania. The first SMT line was opened on Liepkalnio street in Vilnius – a real breakthrough in Teltonika’s production. It enabled us to work more effectively and produce even more innovative products. 2006 Teltonika introduced the first router based on cellular technology – RUT100, which marked the beginning of Teltonika’s networking business niche. RUT100 devices are still successfully used in some industry sectors. For our developed vehicle tracking systems, we won the Innovation Prize in the competition organised by the Lithuanian Innovation Centre and the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists. We produced Teltonika’s first GSM module – TM2. It was intended for telemetry equipment and worked as an external 2G modem. Lithuania’s Ministry of the Economy and Innovation awarded Teltonika with a Medal of Merit for business development in Vilnius County. 2007 Our division in Kaunas, Lithuania, opened its doors. Today, Kaunas is the home of our networking solutions business unit. We started our international expansion with the first foreign offices in Hong Kong and Pakistan. 2008 We stepped into the new personal and asset tracking business niche by introducing a new device – GH3000, which was intended to transmit the user’s location and call for help in the event of an emergency. Teltonika represented Lithuania at the international CeBIT 2009 exhibition. We presented various types of modems, transport management and personal surveillance systems, video solutions, and other devices. 2009 Our production facilities and SMT lines underwent a major upgrade and modernisation. It led to a significant increase in production volumes. 2011 We launched the FOTA platform to provide even more value for our clients. FOTA is a software update and configuration tool, allowing our clients to easily make any desired changes remotely. 2012 Teltonika began providing electronics assembly services to other companies. Today, Teltonika EMS, part of the Teltonika company group, successfully helps clients from various countries by providing electronics design, development, and contract manufacturing services. 2014 We opened the first IoT academy in Lithuania that invites students to learn more about creating the Internet of Things devices and try different engineering and IT professions. Our experience in design and production as well as usage of cutting-edge technologies helped us to focus on user-friendly IoT solutions, and we started the Easy Key to IoT campaign. Since 2016, every device developed by Teltonika has a convenient and easy-to-use interface, which allows for its effective remote management. 2016 We installed a new module calibration robot in our production facilities, enabling the calibration of up to 9 000 modules per day. This robot was a creation of Teltonika’s manufacturing engineers, replacing manual work with automated one. We also opened the first Lithuanian B2B Academy. This academy helps young people learn how to create successful business connections and gain experience in sales and marketing. 2017 Rapid growth requires a larger production capacity. Therefore, we acquired a new SMT line. In the Lithuanian Sector Leaders 2018 competition, Teltonika was ranked as one of the top companies in the manufacturing sector. 2018 Arvydas Paukštys, founder of Teltonika, became the first person in Lithuania to be named national patron. He donated one million euro towards the reconstruction of the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the Rosary in Balbieriškis, Lithuania. We upgraded our production facilities by installing a fully automated product assembly line. Six robots have been responsible for the complete assembly cycle of components, from the integration of the main electronic board into the casing to the laser engraving of the product information. 2019 We announced our plans to establish the Teltonika High-Tech Hill technology park in Vilnius. It will include a new electronics assembly plant, a PCB factory, a plastic parts manufacturing facility, semiconductor chip assembly, testing, and manufacturing facilities, administrative offices, a data centre, a commercial building, and parking facilities. The total investment in the Teltonika High-Tech Hill technology park is estimated at about €3.7 billion. To accelerate growth and function more effectively, Teltonika was reorganised into a company group with the holding company Teltonika IoT Group and Arvydas Paukštys as the president. During reorganisation, separate companies were established inside the group, each focusing on a different business niche: Teltonika Telematics, Teltonika Networks, Teltonika Telemedic, and Teltonika EMS. During the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic, Teltonika embarked on developing the first Lithuanian artificial lung ventilator. For this project, the founder of Teltonika Arvydas Paukštys received the Order of the Knight for merits to Lithuania award. Teltonika also committed to commercialise and produce a smart wristband based on the Kaunas University of Technology and Vilnius University algorithm. Its purpose is to detect atrial fibrillation and help people with heart rhythm problems. The mass production of this unique device, capable of recording a 6-lead electrocardiogram, has already started. Teltonika took fourth place in the Lithuanian Business Leaders 500 ranking and among the strongest Lithuanian companies in the manufacturing industry. 2020 We announced ambitious plans to create a semiconductor chip industry in Lithuania. The project encompasses such activities as semiconductor chip design, fabrication, assembly and testing, and power module manufacturing. We welcomed the Head of the Taipei Mission to the Baltic States at the Teltonika manufacturing facilities and discussed the opportunities for cooperation in developing joint business between Taiwanese and Lithuanian companies. For ambitious business development and exceptional corporate social responsibility, Teltonika won the Lithuanian National broadcaster’s Business Leadership of the Year Award. We established a public institution by the name of Teltonika High-Tech Hill. This institution aims to promote cooperation between business and science and motivate young people to choose careers in engineering and IT. It supervises Teltonika’s academies and scholarship programmes. Teltonika launched a scholarship programme for first-year students in specific engineering and IT study fields. About 250 students in Lithuania each received a €3,000 scholarship. We introduced a new business niche – developing innovative electric vehicle charging solutions, which effectively contribute to reducing CO2 emissions. The first product is the smart EV charger TeltoCharge. 2021 We continue believing in the future of IoT just as strongly as the founder of Teltonika believed in it when he started this business. 2025... We launched the first 5G products made in Lithuania – the RUTX50 router and TRB500 gateway. We started mass production of the EV charger TeltoCharge. Thanks to the talented and highly-skilled Teltonika’s engineers, the EV charging station was developed in less than a year. In the traditional Lithuanian Product of the Year competition, we won two gold medals for the EV charger TeltoCharge by the Teltonika Energy company and the EYE sensor device by Teltonika Telematics. In October, we opened a modern Teltonika Technology Centre in Molėtai, which was built in just nine months. It is the second production unit of the company group, manufacturing network equipment, EV charging stations, and smart heart monitoring wristbands. We welcomed a team of semiconductor research experts and scientists from Taiwan’s Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI). The meeting with the delegation of more than 30 people took place at Teltonika EMS. The delegation shared insights on how we can cooperate in terms of technologies and developing employee competences. The Adizes Institute Worldwide awarded Teltonika as Company of the Year 2021 for achieving exceptional results on a global scale by adopting the Adizes methodology. 2022 We have started the construction of a state-of-the-art PCB manufacturing plant, which will emerge as one of the buildings in the future Teltonika High-Tech Hill technology park in Vilnius. The budget for this project is estimated to be €143 million. Teltonika’s PCB factory is expected to become one of the most advanced of its kind in Europe. Teltonika has received a building permit for a new electronics assembly plant in Vilnius. Together with the upcoming PCB factory, the new electronics assembly plant will emerge as part of the Teltonika High-Tech Hill technology park. It will house 10 electronic assembly lines, 20 testing lines, 4 packaging lines, a modern robotic warehouse, and laboratories. The production capacity is expected to reach more than 18 million products per year. For creating high added-value in the Molėtai region and for our substantial investment in the technology centre project, we received the Investor of the Year award. We have launched the mass production of TeltoHeart, a multifunctional smart wristband with 6-lead ECG, designed to help people with heart rhythm problems. 2023 Among the nearly 30 offices we rent worldwide, 2024 marked a major milestone: we finally moved into our first building constructed specifically for us. In early spring, the brand-new Teltonika headquarters welcomed its first settlers in the heart of Vilnius, at Saltoniškių Street 14. This became the central hub for the management of the entire Teltonika company group, coordinating the activities of all our representative offices around the world. The headquarters feature five floors of modern workspaces and two levels of underground parking. Designed and built in line with the international BREEAM standard for sustainable buildings, they offer smart office solutions, energy-efficient engineering systems, and automated control of ventilation, heating, and lighting. A 400 m² glass roof brings in abundant natural light, while spacious kitchenettes, lounge areas, and a 100-seat restaurant provide a comfortable and inspiring environment for our teams. Teltonika has entered a new phase of its business development. Arvydas Paukštys transfered the management of the Teltonika company group to Marius Derenčius. Starting August 2024, Marius Derenčius is the new CEO of the company Teltonika IoT Group, which controls the Teltonika brand companies, and the president of the whole company group. “These changes stem from the business development plans of the investment company AGP Investments. By implementing them, we are consistently increasing the number of our business activities. I am handing over the management of Teltonika to an experienced leader who has dedicated many years to the development of our IoT products business. I believe that this change will allow Teltonika to focus on its ambitious global growth plans, while my increased involvement in AGP Investments’ projects will help other businesses to grow faster,” says A. Direct marketing We use your email which you provide when subscribing to our newsletter or when you send us an enquiry for the purpose of sending you our updates, offers and other marketing material. Management of client relationships and related processing Teltonika’s focus is the B2B market, but we must collect personal data of employees or representatives of our clients. Depending on the specific actions we take during use of your personal data, processing of your personal data is based on one of the following legal bases, i.e.: when processing is necessary for the performance of a contract or in order to take steps at prior to entering into a contract; processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject; processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by us or a third party. Provision of our services When you use our services, the data controller of your personal data is generally your employer or other entity which is using our products and services. In these cases, we generally act as the data processor in accordance with the data processing agreement concluded as part of our agreement with the customer regarding provision of service. When you use our product service platforms, we may automatically collect or receive certain information about your device and usage of the service. Technical support In order to provide technical support, we may collect and process certain personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This data is collected solely for the purpose of assisting you and improving our support services. Teltonika Helpdesk platform . If you are a partner employee registered on our Helpdesk platform, we collect personal data such as your name, surname, and email address to create and manage your user account. Remote Assistance and Network Diagnostics . To facilitate troubleshooting and resolve network-related issues, we may require specific technical information, including remote access details, network diagnostics, and device configurations. Additionally, we may request details about your use case, the products in use, company operations, or other relevant data necessary to fully understand and resolve your inquiry. All data collected is handled securely and only used for the intended support purpose. Customer User Impersonation . In certain cases, our technical support team may need to impersonate a customer user account to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively. This action will only be performed if the customer explicitly requests support and provides clear, documented consent. User impersonation is strictly limited to the scope necessary for troubleshooting and is conducted under secure access controls to protect customer data and privacy. To ensure efficient processing, relevant information may be shared through our internal communication systems with the appropriate departments, for example Sales, Technical Support, or other teams involved in assisting with your request. Call Recordings . All calls to our Hotline are recorded for quality assurance, training, and support purposes. Recordings are stored for a maximum of 3 months. Access to recordings is restricted to authorized staff responsible for customer support and quality management. As the Hotline is operated via CloudTalk, call data (including recordings) may be transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA). These tools allow us to analyse the interaction between our websites and the most popular social networks. We use Sentry and Firebase services on our applications. These platforms are used for infrastructure and crash log gathering to ensure continuous access. We also use HubSpot and Hotjar services on some of our websites. This system allows us to analyse the actions you voluntarily take on our websites and to aggregate data from the different analytics and communication tools mentioned in this Privacy notice on a single platform. 3.2. Email communication We use MailerLite mailing system for our email marketing. Your email address and other data will be stored on MailerLite's servers in Germany, European Union. With the assistance of the MailerLite cookies, we can analyse the performance of our newsletter campaigns. MailerLite will capture data about your interactions with our emails, such as which links you click within an email. It does by automatically placing single-pixel gifs, also known as web beacons, in every email. Following the completion of just over two years of construction and furnishing work, several hundred Teltonika employees have already started working in this exceptional place. “We have moved into our new office, the heart of Teltonika, where we have gathered employees of the company group under one roof and from where we will coordinate the activities of our regional offices all around the world. By concentrating the management of our divisions in one place, we will operate more efficiently. Our employees will have the best working conditions in a modern building, in a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing work environment,” said Arvydas Paukštys, president of the Teltonika company group. Teltonika’s main office has five floors, with additional two floors for underground car parking. The total area of the building amounts to nearly 18 000 m². The building was designed by a team of architects from the company Architektūros linija: Gintaras Čaikauskas, Miroslaw Szejnicki, Virginija Venckūnienė, Faustas Lasys, Simonas Čaikauskas. The architects’ vision was focused on the building’s visual connection to the city centre of Vilnius. This is why the front frame of the building’s façade opens views of the historic Old Town. In addition, the building features a 400 m² glass roof, which provides plenty of natural daylight for the premises and the employees. The new building is designed to suit a variety of job functions and can accommodate just over 400 employees. It offers personal workspaces and teamwork areas, including 24 meeting rooms. Comfort is ensured beyond the workspace: spacious kitchenettes and lounge areas on each floor and an open-air terrace on the top floor, offering a panoramic view of the central part of Vilnius on warm days. Employees have access to EV charging stations and a storage facility for bicycles and scooters, with showers nearby. There is also a restaurant on the first floor, run and managed by renowned chef Algirdas Matačiūnas. The restaurant seats almost 100 people and offers daily lunches – now only for Teltonika employees, but in the future, anyone will be welcome to have a meal there. The first floor features an atrium decorated with beautiful flowers and plants. The upper floors are arranged around this accent. Each floor includes a lounge area and a wide variety of plants. The first floor also houses a conference room for 150 people, equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual technology. The headquarters office is designed and built according to the Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM), the international standard for sustainable buildings. It ensures that our head office is sustainable and environmentally friendly, qualifying as an A+ energy-class building. It features smart office solutions, advanced and energy-efficient engineering systems, and automated control of ventilation, heating, and lighting. The main administrative building of Teltonika required an investment of over €30 million and was constructed by Power Group Property S14, a subsidiary of the Teltonika company group. It is just one of Teltonika’s several investment projects. The company group is currently developing a 50-ha technology park in Vilnius, building more than ten new facilities and creating around 6,000 jobs over the next few years. The total investment will reach several billion euros. The construction of two new factories began last year: a 33,000 m² PCB factory and a new electronics assembly plant with a production capacity exceeding 18 million products a year.
