Teltonika receives EU co-funding for Kaunas Technology Centre

Just a few months after opening four new factories in Vilnius’ Liepkalnis district, Teltonika Group announced plans for a new technology centre at ALEX Innovation Park in Kaunas, Lithuania’s second-largest city. The project has now been allocated €20,086,240 in European Union co-funding to support the expansion of sustainable electronics manufacturing.

This project, officially titled “Implementation of Sustainable Investments by UAB Teltonika EMS at the Kaunas Technology Centre to Expand Production Capacity in Kaunas County” (No. 02-127-K-0003), is co-funded by the European Union under the progress measure “Improving the Competitive Environment for Attracting Investment.”

The project aims to expand sustainable electronics manufacturing in Kaunas through the construction of a new 18,101 m² industrial facility at Europos Ave. 57. The facility will be equipped with modern production equipment for the advanced assembly of electronic networking products and the development of innovative solutions. This investment will increase production capacity and create at least 210 high-value-added jobs.

The total project value is €38,800,000, of which €20,086,240 has been allocated in funding. The project will run from 1 August 2026 to 30 July 2029.
