TeltoHeart Now Available from Teltonika Online Store

Teltonika is taking a new step into retail, starting in its home market. The TeltoHeart smart medical wristband can now be purchased directly through the company’s website, with delivery currently available across Lithuania. 

The launch of the online store marks a new development for the Teltonika group of companies, as most of its products are designed for business customers and distributed through a network of partners. This new sales channel gives people who want to monitor their own or their loved ones’ heart activity in everyday life a simple and convenient way to purchase TeltoHeart.

“We are launching the online store to get closer to end users and make TeltoHeart technology more widely accessible. Our direct sales will be exclusively online, so our partners will continue to play a vital role: customers will still be able to receive in-person advice and purchase the device immediately at our partners’ physical locations. This new channel will complement our existing sales network and give people greater choice in how they purchase TeltoHeart,” says Darius Ilgevičius, Head of the Telemedicine business unit at Teltonika.

Medical-Grade Heart Monitoring for Everyday Life

TeltoHeart is a CE-certified medical device designed for long-term heart rhythm monitoring. The wristband can automatically detect atrial fibrillation and other heart rhythm disorders and, when needed, record a highly accurate six-lead electrocardiogram.

Designed for everyday use, the device records heart activity at home, at work, during exercise or while sleeping - precisely when intermittent rhythm disorders may occur unexpectedly and often go undetected.

Using the mobile app, the wearer - or an authorised family member - can review the recorded information and share ECG recordings and other heart activity data with a doctor. If the patient’s chosen healthcare provider uses the TeltoCare platform, the doctor can assess the data remotely with the patient’s consent. This allows consultations to be based on continuous monitoring data that may not always be captured during a brief visit to a healthcare facility.

Technology Developed in Lithuania

The advanced algorithm used by TeltoHeart was developed in collaboration with specialists from Kaunas University of Technology, Vilnius University and Vilnius University Hospital Santaros Klinikos. The device’s unique sensor architecture - four sensors on the back of the wristband and two on the front - enables it to record a six-lead electrocardiogram.

The wristband is designed to fit seamlessly into everyday life, and no medical knowledge is required to use its core functions. While TeltoHeart does not replace a consultation with a doctor, the data it collects can help healthcare professionals assess a patient’s condition more comprehensively.
